Is it safe to travel with GGI?

Yes. GGI trips are thoughtfully created by women who travel - with safety, care, and trust at the heart of everything. We choose safe destinations, stay in vetted accommodations, and travel with small groups where everyone looks out for one another. You’ll never feel like just a number.

Who is the trip leader or contact person?

Every trip is hosted by an experienced GGI leader - often our founder Anne Scott or another trusted GGI community builder. You'll know who your host is in advance, and they’ll be available from the moment the trip begins (and usually long before).

What happens if I need help or something goes wrong?

We’ve got your back. Whether you lose your bag, need to see a doctor, or just feel overwhelmed, we’ll do what we can to support you. You’ll have local contacts, trip host access, and a group that looks out for one another.

Is travel insurance required or recommended?

Travel insurance is required to travel with us. It should cover medical emergencies, cancellations, lost luggage, and delays. We’re not affiliated with any providers, so we encourage you to choose the best policy for your needs

Does my credit card insurance count?

Sometimes, yes - but it's up to you to confirm that your credit card policy fully covers your trip, including activities, accommodation, delays, cancellations, and health needs. Please double-check the fine print.

Will I need to sign a waiver?

Yes. As standard, we ask all travellers to sign a waiver before the trip starts. This ensures you’ve read the itinerary, understand the risks involved in travel, and agree to take personal responsibility for your own health and safety. It also helps protect our nonprofit and allows us to continue offering these trips in a responsible and sustainable way.

How are my payments protected?

Your payments are processed through a secure travel protection system designed to keep your money safe. Funds are held in a protected account until your trip is delivered. In the unlikely event of cancellation or disruption, you’re covered under international consumer protection standards and eligible for a refund in line with our Terms & Conditions. This ensures your investment is always safeguarded.
