Middle East Travel Update

Last updated: 18 April 2026

Foreign Travel Advice (UK)

International Travel Advice (USA)

Recent events in the Middle East have led to increased regional tensions following military exchanges between the United States, Israel and Iran in late February 2026. These developments have resulted in temporary airspace disruptions and updated travel advisories across parts of the region.

The UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) currently advises against all but essential travel to Jordan, and against all travel within 3km of the Syria border.

We are monitoring this guidance closely alongside updates from airlines, local authorities and our trusted partners on the ground.

Jordan Trip | May 2026 (Postponed)

Our May 2026 Jordan trip has been postponed to our September 2026 departure.

This decision has been made in line with current travel advice and our duty of care to ensure a calm, safe and enjoyable experience for all travellers.

All guests booked on the May departure have been contacted directly and supported with moving their place to September or alternative options.

Jordan Trip | 26 September – 2 October 2026

Our autumn Jordan trip remains scheduled as planned.

By this point, we anticipate a more stable travel environment, and we will continue to monitor the situation closely in the lead-up to departure.

Looking Ahead to 2027

We will also be adding a new Jordan departure in 2027, allowing those who prefer to travel later to do so with confidence and flexibility.

Details will be shared in due course.

Guests Currently Booked

All May guests have been communicated with 1: 1 and a customised solution agreed with each.

If you are booked on one of our other Jordan trips:

• there is no action required at this time

• please monitor travel advice issued by your own government

• ensure you have appropriate travel insurance for your trip

Should travel advice escalate or materially affect our itineraries, we will contact all travellers promptly with the available options.

Our Approach

The safety of our travellers and hosts is always our priority. We take a measured and transparent approach when monitoring global events and make decisions based on official travel advice, guidance from local partners, and the wellbeing of our guests.

We will continue to monitor the situation closely and provide updates as needed.

You can reach out to us any time via email or WhatsApp. We are here to support you every step of the way.
