Middle East Travel Update
Last updated: 4 March 2026
International Travel Advice (USA)
Recent events in the Middle East have led to increased regional tensions following military exchanges between the United States, Israel and Iran in late February 2026. These developments have resulted in temporary airspace disruptions and updated travel advisories across parts of the region.
The UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) currently advises against all but essential travel to Jordan, and against all travel within 3km of the Syria border.
We are monitoring this guidance closely alongside updates from airlines, local authorities and our trusted partners on the ground.
Jordan Trip – 23 May 2026
Our next Gone International trip to Jordan is scheduled to depart 23 May 2026, which is approximately 12 weeks away.
At this time the trip remains scheduled, and we are actively monitoring the situation.
As a UK tour operator we review travel safety based on:
• FCDO travel advice
• airline operations and regional airspace updates
• guidance from our local Jordanian partners and guides
• developments reported by our Girl Gone International community in Jordan
If circumstances change or official travel advice remains in place closer to departure, we will review the trip in line with our duty of care and the UK Package Travel Regulations.
All guests booked on this trip will be contacted directly if there are any changes.
Jordan Trip – 26 September – 2 October 2026
Our autumn Jordan trip takes place over six months from now.
At this stage there is no impact to this departure, and it remains scheduled as planned.
We will continue to monitor the situation and keep travellers informed should anything change.
